Commercial Break

I'm happy to finally have a title to share for this project! Commercial Break will be a collection of songs that are less personal. These are songs that will focus on canned food empires, fast food conglomerates, and allusions to the media I've been consuming as of late. Planning this as my first project fully recorded on a 4-track, but potentially might include some songs recorded on a microcassette recorder, just for the aesthetic. Here's a demo of the title track, Commercial Break. Release date for this album TBD! Will likely release sooner rather than later, but I hate putting deadlines on projects.

This is a project I'm working on passively, which will focus on non-standard sports (Counter-Strike, MOBAs, contract bridge, etc) and some storylines that have really hooked me. If you didn't know, I wrote for an online publication called Rush B Media in 2020 that covered CS:GO esports news. I've attached a sample from the EP available below (for the first time in this site's history, in a lossless format), focusing on Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and his fruitless pursuits to win a major trophy in Counter-Strike.
